Poyner
From what I gather Poyner was a bicycle shop that assembled bikes in Wolvershire UK using some of England finest frame builders and branding them with their own name. That was a very common practice at one time. Using your serial numbers will help you identify the builder of the frame .....Mike Logan, Bob Jackson. and Harry Quinn are all RUMORED to have built frames for Poyner. I imagine you have a jewel and treasure with out seeing it.Very fine paint from the ones Ive seen

I haven’t got enough posts yet. But I have put some pictures on my album. I assume others can see this. But not at all sure. I’ll keep posting until I am allowed

When Is A Tip Bike Not A Tip Bike?
I see you already have the "Raleigh" on the UK 'bay? You may want to mention the size in your listing? Would you post to the US?
Is the BB shell with the numbers associated with the "Raleigh" or the "Poyner"? (Can you relay what numbers appear to be embossed? Hard to discern in your pics.) You sort of have your photos here all in a jumble?
Would you happen to have more photos of other aspects of the BB shell of the "Raleigh"?
Cheers.

"dump" in Yank "english"
---
the combination of lugs, crown & rapier chain stays on the Raleigh frameset is identical to the one used for the Raleigh Competition model for the U.S. market in 1969-70

Yep that’s it. Recycling centre is the posh word the council use. It’s a mine of great stuff. If you’re that way inclined. I love a good tip😀

one expression we have in Yank english is "dumpster diving"
for meself, prefer to think of it as "midden mining"
whenst ye embark upon thine build please commence a textile in the regular C&V forum
it shall garner plenty o' response...
