Yeah, I've got no issues with play, either. If there is play, it is so little as to me meaningless.

If you've ever used the EVT Ultra Tru-Arc, then all of this discussion is irrelevant. That one is by far my favorite.
Yeah, only $600 for the ultra tru-arc. LMFAO 😆😆

I'm cheap and made my own tool from steel square tubing as per the DIY design of RJ the Bike Guy. Works fine.

We must have the same one, looks sorta like the Park Tool DAG-2.2 and certainly does the job.

I still like Abbey's version better, and I am not sorry I bought it, but this looks like a significant improvement. The price is significantly less than the Abbey tool.
The Abbey's tool stops in the downward direction at 26", which excludes over half of the bikes in our household. DAG-3 goes down to 16" and covers all.

Pull the extender rod out some more. I use it with 700C/29" rims with no issues. Just how big are your wheels?

The problem is of small wheels, not large. We have 700c, 26", 24", 20" and 16". Many alignment tools will not work with smaller wheels and making some work around racks could also be an issue.

I'm not sure why you are worried that one tool seems to be a copy of another. Aren't most bikes sort of a copy of the other?

You right, I'm guilty of making assumptions. I just had to correct another for inferring I had a negative viewpoint towards something I mentioned elsewhere.
