Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What kind of bottle holders are those and where did you get them?

Thanks

Are the two bikes the same frame just diffferent componets?

hullo, i've got 3 road bikes. one, a motiv frame converted to a singlespeed; two, an 84 raleigh gran prix; and three, a masi gran criterium that dates somewhere around circa 70-72. i've gotten rid of all my drop bars -- my neck has learned to hate 'em. instead i ride some neck-friendly nitto technomic stems and uprightish bars from rivendell. i've got some older pictures of em' at:

aloha,

Maarten,
your kidding when you said that his place is in the garage, with a beautiful bike like that it deserved the bedroom, I have my bike stored in my living room, and keep on looking at it thinking when will the snow melts away.

Hi Dante,

They're from a UK Bike shop called Questbikes - they're carbon and weigh about 23g https://www.questbikes.co.uk/acatalog...d-Bottles.html

The frames are made by Deda, then resprayed in Belgium with the bike shop's name (Ribble Cycles) www.ribblecycles.co.uk
The light one is Dedeccai Scandium Alloy and the trianing frame is 7005. The training frame has bolts/holes for mudguards and has less metail paired from the rear hanger/Seatstays etc. The training frame has a slightly longer top-tube (2cm) - but I've adjusted the seat to compensate.
