Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wore a jacket during today's cycling activities. It was not marigold colored.

After the shakedown cruise, I swapped out the original Kashimax torture device saddle for a San Marco Concar derivative, with a more moderate duck tail and a ball trough relief channel, and moved it up and forward. Also adjusted the derailleurs and brakes. Made a big difference!

There was a Property Brothers episode where they homeowner was a woman with a comically squeaky voice who apparently made a decent living doing voice acting work. I know people can't help the voice they were born with and good for her for capitalizing on it but it was incredibly jarring every time she was on screen.

We got a spot of rain just now but it's still too hot for a jacket.

But hey, it's only 96° at 2000 hours and we usually have to wait til at least midnight for such cool temps.

My evening activity was awesome. It's the closest I've come to proper jogging in a few years.
