Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just today I did a self cut, with the wife finishing off the fine details around the ears and neckline.

I do hope you only mean in terms of haircut.

AG is going to press me into that duty shortly. At least she's much less touchy about it than most women.

Good for you. I can’t imagine what a self haircut by me or my wife would look like.

Ingrowns are much less likely with safety razors. I think that I shave every three days or so. Stubble is acceptable right about now.

Much better than cartridge/disposable razors. Smoother, doesn't clog as easily. It just takes a little time to remember to let the weight of the razor do the work - if you press, you'll draw blood sooner rather than later.

Riding this evening and it came to my attention that my rig has been making a lot of noise lately.

I conducted an exhaustive investigation and discovered that one side of the base of my water bottle holder is broken.

I barely even use it.

They don't make things the way they used to. SMH.

So, this water bottle holder was a recent purchase?

They used to make them at the blacksmith's shop, with horseshoes and wagon wheels.
