2023 Trek Checkpoint SL5

Just purchased a Trek Checkpoint SL5. I couldn't be happier with it, the tubeless wheels with the isospeed has made it a lot smoother riding, a couple photos taken today while at Mount Erie, Anacortes, WA included.
Would like to hear from others that own the Checkpoint.

Nice bike, nice photos. I'm not a Checkpoint owner, but it looks like a great ride.

The Jamis is a great gravel bike, I think the GRX/105 drivetrain, hydraulic brakes and tubeless wheels make the biggest differences for me, also having a son-in-law that is about my exact size, he gets the Jamis now.

Great pictures there in WA!

I have a 2022/23 Checkpoint ALR5. Same groupset, wheelset, etc as your SL, except its the ALR frame. It's a joy to ride.

I have about 1K trouble-free miles on mine:

I have a 2021 ALR4, which is the previous generation geometry, but I must say for what was at that time Trek's entry-level Checkpoint, it has really done well.

Although that new SL6 sure looks temping....

I have the same bike, same color. Got it last fall, probably ridden it 12 - 15 times now. Rides ranging from 20 - 60 miles, any where from a 50/50 mix to a 90/10 gravel/road mix.

Could not be happier, absolutely love it. The 40mm tires with the Iso speed handles the gravel very well.

If I have 1 gripe, it's the black rubber knubs that cover the mount holes. They fall out way to easy when washing the bike!

Nice! 😎

One of the best features of the carbon models is the internal frame storage. I've got pretty much all my spares/repair kit stashed inside the frame, so no saddle bag required!
