Torelli Super Strada

Anyone know anything about Torelli Super Strada?

Torelli bikes/frames were the house brand for a US importing company back in the 80s and early '90s. I think they do a lot of internet sales now https://www.torelli.com/ . Their frames were pretty nice and you could get say one of their SL frames for about 2-300 less than something like a Pinarello or DeRosa.

Chairman Bill had bikes built for him under the Torelli name by different Italian bike builders. Most if not all were painted and finished here in the US. He was also the importer for Masi bikes. When you called Torelli, either Bill or his wife would answer the phone. Sold the company a few years ago.

The company still works pretty much exactly like that, it's not past tense. New owner, and there's an extensive dealer network......the frames are still made in Italy and painted in the U.S. in whatever color the customer wants. When you call Torelli nowadays you still speak to the owner, he's a very nice guy and super helpful. And again, there's a big dealer network.
