Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Here is my Ridewithgps info. If you can see it, let me know and I can send to your phone if you want. It took me 90 minutes to drive out there. I plan to ride again but will wait for the rhododendrons to bloom, quite a few lining the trail, should be quite a show.

In the Zoniënwoud south of Brussels....the trees are still bare and the views of the forest terrain are still open. IN a few weeks it'll be green everywhere you look and the forest will close in to make a a different kind of experience. I can't wait.

I actually prefer the view of the woods during winter. Then again I enjoy the warm spring air when the trees just start to leaf out, spring green a great color.

I tried to do some single-track riding too, but it was a huge mistake since it was steep, rocky and I was wearing my carbon road shoes (and it was getting dark)! Not so fun. Also, I'm not sure if my brakes need to be bled or I just need stronger brakes for steep descents, but my hands were killing me on the way down. More to come later. I've got new gravel shoes and pedals on the way, as well as a smaller chainring, so hopefully things will improve as I figure this gravel stuff out. This was on 650b x 47mm wheels. I've got some 700c wheels coming too (the seller included both sets in the sale). Definitely welcome any advice. I was sort of kicking myself for not just getting a MTB when I was descending. Also welcoming suggestions for a new color bar tape. Blue? Black? Hot pink?
That looks incredible, looks like you could coast for miles.

Gorgeous! I love the 'Gunks! You have plenty of traffic-free carriage roads to ride on. The Minnewaska Carriage Road loop is a blast - 3 miles of pain for 6 miles of gain, or if you have something a little beefier, like my Fargo, you can tack on an extra 2 miles of rough stuff around Lake Awosting. I live on Long Island, where there's a severe dearth of gravel.

Easter morn gravel along the river in Eastvale CA. I even stopped to let the spring lambs know they'd be spared from the grill this year!

^^Nice to see everyone getting out this weekend! All great photos.

I'm pretty sure there was some proper gravel that my wheels rolled over on Saturday. Still learning how to make video edits that aren't boring

This short video came through my feed this morning. Apologies for the gratuitous product placement (I don't work for 7Mesh) but some nice shots in the vid.
