Looks like it started its life as one of the tribute Pinarello bikes made to celebrate Grewal’s 1984 Olympic gold medal. I do think it is the original fork. At first, I thought not, because many of the high end Pinarello frames had the engraved crown but in looking at images of the tribute bikes, they had full chrome forks that looked like this one.
FWIW I just found a listing for newish one of these so anyone that wants to contrast and compare can!

This is a steal considering that first gen oclv Mountain bikes are practically indestructible and much better made than the newer frames. Also XTR 950 drivetrain is more robust than the latest 12 speeds variant.Rolf wheels are also very good value because of DT Hugi hubs.
