I finally saw them.

I finally saw these brakes in real life. They didn't work though. No fluid and many loose parts. I wonder if they can be fixed.

I probably waste too much time trying to fix things like that, just to see if I can. I am intrigued by obsolete technology. If it worked once, it should be able to work again, as long as there are no broken or missing parts.

Just wondering, how long before I can post a thread of my own? Tried to after making an account, but after I pressed the 'post' button, I was logged out, and lost the thread entirely.

That is not due to Newbie status, that just happens sometimes when you take a long time working on a post. You can usually back up your browser to recover the content of the post, sign back in, and then re-post.
