Two threads that were shut down by the mods quite quickly for basically being too stupid to continue.

Apparently, being a punch line is your thing.

Seriously, did you not actually try to carry the golf club BEFORE you started a thread about it?

I won't recommend this. Half of my lifetime crashes occurred riding one-handed usually when carrying soda or beer bottle with the other hand or taking a garbage bag to the dumpster and road bikes are the worst for one-hand riding. Hitting a speed bump one handed at a relatively low speed and I got thrown off the bike. Even just pressing the brake moderately one-handed and I endoed so easily.

Respect to all who ride one-handed due to disability. I've only begun to "master" riding one-handed on a road bike by squeezing the top tube with my knees whenever I'm coming to a speed bump or during braking. But you just can't afford to get distracted if you need to ride one-handed.

What would be the point of subscribing to a locked thread?

Don't give the OP any ideas. He has enough bad ones already.

No, why would I do that? Seems dangerous.

Because, hopefully, you are an adult with some basic sense of how to ride a bike, and some sort of basic understanding of how to mitigate risk. I other words, hopefully you have a basic understanding of how to get along in life. If you cannot figure out how to ride a bike whilst carrying something, and cannot figure out how to test an idea before embarking on a long five minute ride, then there may be a remedial kindergarten in your area you may wish to check out.

So you needed permission?!

If we had told you holding it between your teeth was okay, would you have tried that?
