Quality Leather Grips for Flat Bars
Hi.
I couldn't find any high-quality leather grips on the market that complemented classic leather saddles from brands like Brooks or Gilles Berthoud. So, I spent most of last year developing my own. Now that the product is almost ready to launch, I'd like to get your feedback before I do. What do you think?

Bikes: too many sparkly Italians, some sweet Americans and a couple interesting Japanese

Beautiful but what is underneath the cover, thick leather of padding. Price point to produce?

It is softened a bit with water and then glued and stitched to a custom designed shape that interlinks with the lock-rings.
The price point of one pair is 129€, as it takes about an hour to put one pair together. But it is the last pair of leather grips you will ever need.
They will last on your bike forever.

Here is a short video clip: https://vimeo.com/tsetse/manoligrips
It shows a bit how the grips are made.
Hope you like it.

Look nice to me!
I don’t have a bike sufficiently nice to warrant €129 grips, but maybe someday.
The way folks spend on bikes these days, though, I’m sure there’s a market; best luck!

I'm excited to announce that Manoli Grips are now available on Kickstarter. We've just launched our campaign, and for the first 24 hours only, we're offering a massive discount. One pair of grips costs only €77, but this offer is only available for today.
