Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

True...except in the sh*thole we call Southern Ontario. Pretty much American-style weather here.

Which makes me wonder...I love living in Canada, and I don't mind being cold at all. So why am I living on the border to your ****ty country?

That's obviously rhetorical, but I'm sure someone will answer.

We can harp on other things. For instance, it's "bated breath."

Oooohhh!! Bad day for you? You missed the point. As for the poor proofreading, well, sometimes one cannot always get A's.

Okay, okay, I've solved all our problems and have helped to narrowly avert an international incident. See, when you click on the little US flag, you get the "free shipping to the US" message. Click on that little maple leaf and it says "free shipping to the Enlightened Citizenry of Canada, eh."

The Canadien version also says, "All orders must be paid for in freshly bloodied baby seal pelts.

Glad to help.

For those waiting with baited breath for yet another treatise on the differences between we reserved, humble and courteous Canuckleheads and you troglodytic, gun-toting Murcans, even when you attempt to be somewhat inclusive on an international forum you still get it wrong. Where you said "There's no shipping to the U.S." a Canook would have said "There's no shipping to this god-forsaken former colonial outpost unfortunate enough to include the flat and monotonous province of Saskatchewan, anyway, but I can't speak for anywhere else."

But then you wouldn't be Murcan if you actually phrased it like that, so what's the point? Why do you keep bringing this stuff up? Who cares? Do you really want to spend the next ten pages of this thread ragging on Canadians? What's your problem, anyway? Not breastfed as a kid, or something? I got an order on PBK I gotta finish. Jayzus, get a life!
Wait a minute - I'll get back to you as soon as I finish looking up words in your post. Now where was I - oh yeah "Zamboni".

Some shops figure if they're going to sell something they might as well make full profit on it. They'd rather sell 1 at 100% versus 3 or 4 at 75%.

huh?!?

Ok, before anyone else gets their feelings hurt and their panties in a wad, I said "you Canadians" in a sarcastic tone back to you because you lumped "Us Americans" together in a silly anti-US statement. I was poking fun at you not all of Canada.

Troll much?

Some bushes need beating.

What's with the "gun-toting Americans" drivel, folks? What, nobody in Canada ever went beaver hunting?

Yes, but we're generally not allowed to carry weapons when going to night clubs.
