It would be great to see the age of each person in their post info to the left of each post, that way their grumpiness can be correlated to age and we can get some averages. I'd like to make sure I'm hitting the correct expectations of grouch given my age to fit in. I have a feeling that I'm under-performing

Constant danger, slacking, under performing, slouching in the grumpiness dept.

It takes vigilance and focus to stay on top of.

LOL, that could help a lot, but it could also confuse some of us. 😁

If we go out of our way to let the dumb stuff "roll off", then we'll probably have to get even crankier, as we age, to compensate for being too nice, while younger. 🤨😉

I'll be 61 next week, might need to "mean up" a bit, soon. 😁😉

Made by Gimmyah in China.
Unusual design called a cantilever caliper, requires three cables to actuate but uses no springs.

The secret of C&V is that only 6% of the people posting in this thread have realized that Neal's post was cleverly written sarcasm mockery.

It's the challenge of message board communication- you can't read comments with the intended voice inflection of the writer and only obviously funny comments, where the writer's true view is readily known, can be consistently read with sarcasm. It's why forums use *** or /s at the end of the comment to clarify.

When this fails, then a few in the know giggle at all the rubes who respond with sincerity. The young folk call it IYKYK.

I often look at our little fun house very subjectively, more often than not will chime in for fun, drill, entertainment value and occasionally attempt to contribute with limited success.

Its just as much about the community as anything else while we try and solve some mysteries along the way.

I think its fantastic, thank all who came before for building such a good thing.
