My other big score from Ace Hardware. I don't know how many of you remember that mickey mouse flexible setup I posted back in August. I've been struggling with it ever since, both flexible and somewhat rigid, and finally just removed all the tubing and put a bucket under each sink.
In the meantime, the baskets and their supports also disintegrated. These new ones are stainless, even better than the replacement plastic ones at Home Depot.
It's a big step for Ace to take, betting that Yucatecos might actually spend a little more for a quality product. They know the Gringos will though, and Merida has a large, year round population of them. Thus the English speakers on the sales floor.
Edit: the traps are inside the sink, where the baskets would normally live.

Finally getting off of my butt to sell a few lenses that I don't really use too much these days. Whenever I post a listing, I like to include pics taken with the lenses in addition to pics of the lenses. That in mind, I took the girl out in the Burley to get out of the house and take some pics for the ads. These are from a couple of 28mm lenses. I should probably process them a little more, but I'm not feeling that ambitious and I'll be pricing them aggressively, anyway.

It was wife’s last day as a partner today and I made us a couple of little 2 oz. Botanist and Dolin martinis. First ones we’ve had since we cut way back on the sauce over a year ago. Deeelicious!

I was out in the lawn, picking up hurricane-spewn debris (it felt like December, by the way), when I stepped in a hole that was obscured by leaves and fell, banging my already puffy knee.
This wouldn't have happened in the summer.
I hope you cooler weather idiots are happy.

the drain kit they sold me doesn't have goosenecks. I have this sealing lid instead. If it doesn't work out I'll go back in and install traps

The dam in Nashville on the Stones River was roaring. The people that we were with said that they had never seen all the gates open and so much water discharge. Since this was the day before Zeta, I wonder if they were discharging in preparation of storage after yesterday's rain.

Last post-work ride of 2020. Got back to the car at 6:00, as the sun sank below the Crystal Springs gap. Next week this time, it will be 5:00, and to get in a ride after work I'd have to stop at 3:00. SO, the question is, can I motivate myself to get up at 6:30AM (formerly 7:30), and hit the road by 7:30 so I can get in a ride before work? Or am I doomed to Zwift?
