Might be an optical illusion, but it appears that there's suspiciously little clearance between the front wheel and the downtube for a Trek touring bike.

Naturally it's about 20 sizes too big for me. That's a pure race bike.

It's not clear that's the fault of the people who can view such links. It's not really different in my mind than posting a link to a forum which requires a user to be logged in to view the content.

Hmmm... I am not on FB but I have never had a problem actually looking at the links and pictures. I can't purchase obviously, but I could probably cajole someone who is on it into facilitating if that ever came about. So far it never has.

Facebook links are annoying bc of the account thing. Sometimes you can click through and sometimes you can't, to keep us interested, i guess.

How about an agreement to post the model advertised, the location, and the price? Pictures are a bonus, and thanks to those who take the time.

That would be helpful no matter the source of the ad.

Regarding FB, I gave up...or in...and made an account with a not very clever alias. Problem solved.

And half the parts on my Cannondale build are from a Facebook find, so I'm a fan

Any resource for what you are looking for should be explored. I missed a set of original Gary Fischer bikes in Walnut Creek on FM. Anyone here get them?

Especially with a mile out back, that said I think it is a bit OI, big tire and maybe front end not long enough for the small frame size, maybe Mr. Thompson will weigh in.
