Several times now I've seen bikes advertised with "Champion parts" and I actually bought a set of Record cranks listed as Champion . Maybe some get Champion as a spelling suggestion when they type Campagnolo.

Back in the day, we used to write it Campag-no-low, due to their emphasis on narrow and mid-range derailleurs. That was before the Gran Turismo and Rally were released but given their issues, the spelling stuck, even after their release. Owners tried to erase the memory of these derailleurs from their minds, once they discovered the SunTour VGT.
