PSA: Velo-Orange's gift card sale

Starting today through 11/28, Velo-Orange's e-gift cards are 20% off! It's a great way to get things on sale whenever you need them.

PS They have a surprisingly large number of frames (and handlebars, and hubs, and some gorgeous Sabot pedals) in their specials; get a gift card then get a frame for even less!

I was hoping the ty cancelled out my "vitriol". I had stuff in my cart already and emptied it to get it all for 20% less simply because the folks on the forums are good humans. I mean that sincerely.

To be fair, a bastard is the child of an unmarried woman, no gender implied. And I live to enable.

It did, and I'm 97% sure noone was offended. ✌️ But someone had to let you know, that she is a she, so I decided to have a little fun with it. 😁😉

Korina knows I have a warped sense of humor, so I was pretty sure she'd laugh too. 😁😉

It's not quite turkey day yet, but Happy Thanksgiving to all. 😎

My order is shipped and I can't wait but today I drive to Rockford IL to visit my daughter in her vintage new house. Gonna bring a bike and explore the neighborhood!

I may have chortled; my sense of humor is also warped, occasionally inappropriate, and sometimes very, very dry. I blame my mom. 🙃

Happy tofurky day!

They do this every year, and I like their reasoning that it's easier on the staff, which likely doesn't number in the hundreds or even in the dozens.

HB-0019 Left Bank Handlebar - 23.8mm 1
HB-0006 Porteur Handlebar - 23.8mm 1
PD-0039 Sabot Pedals - Silver 1

Want to try the left bank bars for a 3 speed gitane tdf build. It's a full 531 frame but no derailleur hanger and I have a substitute motobecane stem that will take a 1" bar. The porteurs were discounted and I wanted to try the pedals.

Score! I liked my Porteur bar, but eventually found it a bit too narrow for me, though it did work better on the bus rack. Switched to a Tourist Bar and I love it. Let me know how the Left Bank bar works out; I'm curious.

We may be different because I love porteur bars. I tour with them. I got the left bank because the stem I'm using on the gitane is short and I needed the rise. I also use porteurs flipped to the rise side. My shoulder and neck are pretty stiff due to being 66 and arthritic. Also I have a telecaster hanging off ofe a lot. Anyway i enjoy a good light sporting frame set up like a Raleigh sports.

That's what I'm wondering, too. If I get a discounted gift card now, will I be able to use it if/when there's a future sale? The terms & conditions of the gift card don't specifically say that it won't be applicable to future sale items (though it does say you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.....).

Why wouldn't you? Gift cards are cash you can spend in only one place.

Your gift card from v.o. works on everything at v.o.
