Locking Skewers Stuck On Bike

https://www.amazon.com/SUNLITE-Locki.../dp/B002K2IYPY
I lost the key to these locking skewers and need to change a flat tire. It's a 5 sided hex key. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement key or get them off? For various reasons, I no longer use Amazon. Thank You in advance

Probably I would just cut them off with an angle grinder and a cut off wheel. Then I could get some new skewers from the LBS and be riding again soon.

If you want to take longer then email the vendors or maker of those skewers.

I would take them off using that pliers method and then toss them in the garbage where they started life and if you want low level security get a pair of Delta AxleRodz or some other form of bolt on skewer from your local shop and it will only take a 5mm hex wrench to remove so won't be high security but is easier to remove without some odd proprietary key that is just a universal jobber than can be removed with pliers.

You could also look at the Abus NutFix and carry around an 8mm open end wrench (don't use adjustable or the wrong size you can strip them) and that is a pretty secure option if you don't allow a thief to put the bike on its side which you should when locking up properly.

In a pinch you can often patch a tube without removing the wheel from the bike.

I see you can get pentagon driver bits online. Male, right?

https://www.amazon.com/Saipe-Screwdr.../dp/B09CPBHZVS

https://www.amazon.com/10pc-Penta-si.../dp/B095176BZ3

However, if you want to keep the skewers, I'd just buy a second set that would give you the proper key.

Yes, as you saw, multiple reviews pointed that out! Pliers or vice grips.

I use an old hex key based skewer on the front wheel of one of my bikes.
Of course, we all know no such thing as a 5 sided hex key.
