Grease stain a sign of inexperience?
Is a grease stain on one's calf a sign of a newbie or just someone who rode their bike that day

So, I struggled with this one, too, but I found a little trick - if you hold your hands out, palms facing away, and make a right angle with your index finger and thumb on each hand, the side that makes an uppercase "L" is the Left and the other side is the right, obviously.

TBH, this happens to me from time to time when I'm carrying or moving the bike--like in a roadside flat situation or loading or unloading from a car. It very rarely happens during riding--once every couple of years, maybe?
I wear black socks, however. Couldn't tell you if those are getting tattooed.

Happens to me literally every day, my right leg has a few faded marks that I didn't scrub out in the shower well enough and i havent even ridden today yet
