I keep saying the best minds 100+ years ago designed bikes. Now they're at it with NASA, computers, tech. I won't call that bike practical except - it is a bike that is ridable on the very poor roads of WW1 Europe at a time of all rubber having been sequestered by the war machines. Maybe even close to genius.

It's been a while since someone once again for the umpteenth thousandth time just discovered this. You might also want to research drillium bike frames and components.

...there was one guy out on the river MUP who used to ride past me (going the other direction) on bare rims like that.
In the summer he also rode with an umbrella, to keep the sun off . It was interesting was how far away you could hear him coming.
