Best, Ben
BTW @andy k, I wonder what hue of Celeste this is?
Sorry for not chiming in sooner but I don’t always get mentioned notifications I think they go into the spam bin. This is a bit older for me to know much about, it’s more likey T-Mars era or uh area. I’m always a bit skeptical of these claims of “team bike” and “top of the line” etc. it is likely a very nice bike but without some provenance I don’t think I’d spend that kind of money for it.

I hadn’t seen it for some reason, also see above. I’m actually eyeing that quirky mixte Basso that was posted last week.

Anyone in Pittsburgh PA or near the little hickory town of Gibsonia?

It’s too bad this is about a 10 hour drive for me, this was a pretty nice machine in its day and looks to have seen little use. $680, full ChroMo Tange f/f Suntour XC LD components

Oh yeah, I just looked at the map, map apps really suck if you’ll pardon my vulgarity, but anyway the Apple map says 8 hours 33 minutes so this would likely have to be an overnight weekend meander for me.

Found on eBay:

Vintage Raleigh Carlton Super Course lugged Reynolds 531 frameset, 65cm

Includes stem, headset, front cable bracket, and seatpost binder bolt. No mention of stem being stuck.

Vendor is highly rated. I've done business with them a couple of times w/o issue; no other connection.

Dunno if price is competitive or not.

Posted here as frame size is large and some here are always looking for a large, high-quality vintage steel frame.

None of us get them if the poster picks the name from the pop-up list instead of simply writing the name in full. It's a bug.

That's the trick? I had been wondering. I see this take on various forms, so just type the user name and that should work? will it highlight blue?

It still needs the @ but you don't want it to auto populate, I type out the name, add the @ then move the cursor to the end of the name and enter to move the cursor down to the body without making the name auto populate.

Yep PITA.

Understand completely.

Some years ago, I worked with a guy who'd gone to college in Yuma. One thing that stuck with me was his remark that, "You can actually get sick of blue skies."

Here's the kicker: he'd grown up in Tucson.
