Try that with a 1957 DeSoto, results might be different...

Looks staged, Hyundai driver hit a century fence post, or bike rack, and someone saw a chance for an entertaining photo op. My daughter has one of those, can’t deform the bumper cover that much without hitting something more substantial then a bike rim.

There's a weird Twilight Zone thing going on here. Notice the alien leaning out of the driver's side window.

These fixie riders, they're just a different breed. We old geezers could learn so much from them!

What’s not shown is that the bike rider is now prone on the pavement under a tarp while the driver is on the phone with his insurance company.

Don't forget that the local PD has wasted no time in releasing a report blaming the rider for no helmet (despite a helmet having no bearing the mechanics of the crash itself) and the city has launched into high gear for a cyclist education and enforcement campaign - all while completely ignoring that they're the ones who continue to paint sharrows and refuse to install protected bike lanes.

This all will happen 10 times faster than the driver will get someone on the line from their insurance company.

Those Dominos pizza delivery fixies I bought cheap to refurb had some really tough wheels

Obviously staged but I thought it funny.
