Which Chain Stay Protector?

Hi all,

I just got my hands on a Cube Nature 2014 in marvellous condition. Perfect for my bimbles out with my partner on a Sunday. I would like to keep it in the great condition it is in as much as possible for as long as possible.

Is anyone able to recommended a Chain Stay Protector that is good for this bike?

Thanks all
Jim

Get a piece of PEX pipe and cut it lengthwise, then snap it over the stay. Nothing will get through that.

Or wrap it with an old tube, bar tape, mastic tape, helicopter tape,,,,,, buy an actual chainstay protector. I've done a bunch of those but personally I like the bar tape option the best look wise.

My mtn.bike has an old tube, cut lengthwise, and wrapped with electrical tape. My wife's mtn.bike has a Lizard Skin chainstay protector:
Black Neoprene Chainstay Protector | Lizard Skins Lots of good suggestions above as well.

I bought a renthal in the end but it’s arrived and it’s too damn small. I’m sure I got the measurement right. Anyways I can stick it on my gfs bike so all good.
