Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I flag those all of the time. I don't get all worked up about KOMs but, if I have one, and I get an email notification that I lost one to someone doing 45mph, ya damn right I'm going to take 20 seconds to flag it.

Okay, it's official. I have too many bikes. I can no longer fit them in the corner of the garage. I can get 6 in there, but the 7th, I end up putting in the workstand.

I need a new garage. Or maybe for Mrs. GJ to clear her crap out of it, so there' ONE ROOM in the house that's mine, even if it's not in the actual house.

Funny you mention that. During the pandemic, I let my hair and beard go wild, and two (or three - I forget) people on Zoom meetings independently called me "Santa." That was sort of a kick in the head.

Have you seen those hinged bike racks? Think back to your youth of the poster section of the record store. Give it a try.

Sounds like you just may not be efficient with your space. If you have a corner, you should be able to hang 6 on the wall and have 6 standing on the floor. Maybe even 6 hanging on the ceiling if you have enough headroom.

This is the corner. I can't add more on the wall because the door is right next to the fan and pump.
