Figured it's worth a try to use the partial MT-68 I have before mixing with a different brand cup, buying something unknown off eBay to carve it up, or buying a long cartridge BB and popping on a couple spacers.

Snip from the 1973 Sugino catalog (either of the adjustable cups, both have MADE IN JAPAN on there, instead of just JAPAN).

If you have anything of need let me know, I have some things available to trade, including Paypal and Venmo info.
I might have both of those styles of adjustable cup. Let me go dig out the collection of loose ball BB stuff.

Edit: I do, but it's all 36x24 Italian thread stuff. Probably why that bin of stuff has not been used up yet.

ISO:
i got a couple sets of Z401 stem shifters, and I'd like to use a set as DT shifters.
I'm looking for a down tube adapter, like this:
https://velobase.com/ViewComponent.a...062ef&Enum=104

It doesn't need to be this exact adapter, but I do want it to say "SHIMANO" on it. thanks.
I suppose I could trade a set of shifters or one of the quill adapters. Let me know what you might need.

I'll be posting a few things for trade here soon. I don't need too much in the way of parts, but there are a few things holding progress back a bit. Postage would be from Manitoba in Canada. Haven't sent anything Stateside in long time. They've made it more of a pain in the a$s now. All customs forms must be filled in online by the sender.

I need 165mm crank arms or crankset for a triple set, square taper, JIS, for my '89 Trek 520. Something in silver, not too particular about the brand. I have a Deore FC-MT60 in 170mm for trade if you have a 165mm. Rings are Biopace 50-44-28. I can do just the arms or with the rings.

I found the cranks I needed, if anyone needs my 170mm they are still available for trade. I like bike stuff

Randonneuring bars for trade

I have two sets of randonneuring bars I would like to trade for standard parallel drops in 40-42 cm center to center at the bottom of the drops and 25.4 clamp size, silver only, no ergo/angled bars.

The first one is an SR Sakae “Randnnr Road Champion “ with 25.4 clamp, about 33cm c-to-c on the tops, 41cm c-to-c in the drops, drop is about 125mm.

The 2nd set is a Nitto “Grand Randonneur135”, 25.4 clamp, 33/41 c-to -c, 125 mm drop.

Both are in good shape but the Nitto is much newer. The SR came on a mid 70s Centurion.

I've got two sets of drop bars: https://www.bikeforums.net/g/album/19676741
The black Ritchey bars are from this millennium, I believe. I think they meet your width requirement, but they are black and ergo-shaped. CLAMP DIAMETER: 26.0mm

WELP- I think I just sold the CODA bars….
There's also a set of wider CODA bars. Made in the USA. Slightly wider, about 45cm CtC. Not sure if these are from the '80s or '90s. CLAMP DIAMETER: 26.0mm

I'd be willing to swap for a bike seat! HA!
lemme know. The Ritchey's are already posted for sale in the C&V section. Probably why I haven't sold them yet.
- just typed all this up an realized you said 25.4mm . . . welp, lemme know...

ISO Dura Ace 7800 STI left "brifter"

Hi folks,

I’m looking for a left side/front Dura Ace 7800 STI shifter/lever to match the right side 7800 0n my Ridley CX bike. This may be labeled 7801 because it would be for a double chain set. For trade I have a 7400 derailleur set with some rough 7 speed Dura Ace SIS DT shifters. The RD is labeled 6 SIS/7 SIS, but I have used it successfully with the above shifters as well as Shimano 600 8 speed SIS DTs and 105 8 Speed STIs. The derailleurs are in good condition. I also have other parts to trade. Please send me your e-mail adr if you would like pix or other info.

Thanks & regards,
Van

I think I have one but need to check the model number to be sure. And I was wondering if I could fine the RH mate for it or...so this may be the answer if it's the correct number. I will know tomorrow and PM you.

EDIT: I found it and it's a 7800 (had to hunt for the part number, now I know where to look!). I will PM you with details.

howdy - yes. I'm not sure how I get a 31.8mm clamp. Either in a box of stuff from a friend, or maybe from an aluminum bike, I guess. It's been in the parts bin for quite a while.
Let me know if you can put it back into use! Thanks.

I was thinking the 6401 was the clamp and the 6400 was the braze-on...oops. Sorry I can’t help you there.

ISO NDS "Made in Italy" crank arm

Gipiemme arm on it’s way thanks to madhonk. 😃
Hi folks,

I’m looking for an Italian made NDS 170mm crank arm with 9/16 pedal threads. Doesn’t need to be anything special. A couple of years ago, I was building up a 70s English Tourer and got a very nice Gipiemme triple DS arm & rings for it at a bargain price. I’m currently using a “Plain Jane” arm that’s not even close to matching.

While going thru the bins to set up winter projects, I thought it would be nice to have at least an Italian made NDS on that bike. So, although a Gipiemme arm would be nice, I’d settle for a Campagnolo Gran Sport, Galli, etc.

The only Italian part that I have to trade is a Gran Sport front derailleur in decent shape. But I have lots of shifters, derailleurs, stems & 7 speed cassettes mostly mid-level.

Thanks and regards,

Van

Anyone got an extra 32 hole Panasonic Dyna hub?

I'm looking for one or two cheap 32 spoke Dynamo hubs. I was hoping some one here may have extras from when Soma was blowing out Dyna hubs. I have one extra 36 hole Dyna hub and loads of bike junk to offer in trade. Or cash. Thanks, Woody

I am currently searching for a set of silver drops and possibly a quill stem for my 1992 Bridgestone RB2 build. I've got just about everything covered for a period correct(ish) look, but I don't have any sliver bars.

I've got a few things available for trade (moustache bars, red-ano mountain bike bars, spds, barcon shifters, old muddy fox saddle, shimano mf-z012 6 speed freewheel - 14-28)

What specific stem/bar combo are you looking for? What width? Clamp area size? Brand?

I've got a few things available for trade (moustache bars, red-ano mountain bike bars, spds, barcon shifters, old muddy fox saddle, shimano mf-z012 6 speed freewheel - 14-28)
If Cinelli floats your boat PM me.

I have nothing specific in mind... like really. I don't want to go with a threadless stem (I have a few already) as it's an older threaded headset. The frame is purple, and not even in my possession at the moment! :-)

** edit... the Blaze brakes are probably not staying as I have a set of nos RX100 brakes & levers that I'm probably going with.
