Oh, man! I forgot all about Mickey's! I've gotta pick up a sixer of hand grenades sometime soon. One of the guys that I used to work with, just after having turned 21, got us in to the habit of grabbing a pack and popping 'em open just after we locked the doors for the day. Ah, memories!

A funny "the grass is always greener," thing: when I was a bartender at a Mexican restaurant, we had a number of good Mexican beers on hand (Corona being the absolute worst of them), but *none* of the staff, that were actually from Mexico, would touch them - they only wanted Bud, nothing else. I never did figure that out.

If you lined up Miller, Bud, Michelob, etc in front of me, I don't know that I'd be able to taste a difference.

I was a Miller kid. That was probably thanks to an uncle who used to buy the ponies for cookouts. And because it’s the champagne of beers. No 40s back then. Only quarts. When we had extra money we would sometimes buy Malt Duck.
