Yeah it’s not too bad at all. A scraped knee and forearm.

Couldn't ride yesterday as the south wind was hitting 20 mph (usually happens when a cool front is approaching south Texas) and today winter has finally arrived and will be with us for a few days along with some rain so won't be riding for a few days. Hope everyone is doing well with this winter storm; stay warm!

My goal is one ride of 100+ miles.

I'm hoping just to get my monthly century in. It will be my 14th consecutive. There HERE if you want to join the fun.

It's been mostly in the single digits here in New England since mid January. But the temps are supposed to get above freezing, with lows in the lower 20's, on Monday the 22nd (9 days away), so that will be a good day to ride 100 miles.

I see your location says "Up". Are you on the Upper Peninsula? Doing these miles in the snow?

This has been a tough winter for me . Weather and health wise.
But , today it was sunny and 55 , a rare day this year . So I gave it a try
The wind made it tough , but at least we’ve missed the ice and snow so far . I’m thankful for that .
I hope all of you made it through the mess ok .

After a week where hell froze over (south Texas), no electricity, frozen pipes, the weather finally began to look better as of last Saturday. I got 11 miles in on Sunday and was able to put in close to 30 today; however, I forgot to turn on my strava when I began my ride (LOL) and you know what they say, if you didn't record it on strava, it didn't happen. Glad to be riding again though; weather looks awesome for the next week or two, my only nemesis might be the wind. Hope everyone is doing well.
