My ex-GF is now even stronger than I am on the flats. I need to ride more. It was fun when we did some tours together because having her two a trailer in the hills/mountains was the only way I could keeper he behind/close to me. Her being 5' tall and 105 lbs. helps with the climbing.

Yes. I have even heard of injecting fuel into the exhaust or catalitic converter , to make more smoke. There are devices sold for just this reason. They also modify the pcm tune for excessive fueling at certain power settings to make this condition possible.

Everyone IS different. I ride on Zwift like I ride IRL - alone, no group rides. I like racing, perhaps because I've done pretty well at it, being near the top of the D category. If I ever graduate to C, that might change my views! I like marking a rider ahead of me, catching and dropping them, and I like sometimes doing the Innsbruck climb, or the Epic KOM with Radio Tower. Structured workouts are kinda new to me, but I do like the challenge, if I can actually manage them.

Rockwood, PA. I was riding the GAP as part of a cross-PA tour. Left camp on the other side of the river to go into town for supplies. I was just tooling around. They approached from behind very slowly and then gunned the engine just as I stopped to check out a rail yard. They were too far in front of me by the time the smoke billowed out.
