Is this going to end up like Strava? But instead of cyclists racing through parks and traffic trying to achieve the best times, our parks and streets will be clogged with people sitting perfectly still trying to lower their resting heart rates?

Anyways, congrats @billnuke1. I'm closing in on 60 and I've been bike commuting for decades to maintain some semblance of fitness, and being able to quickly recuperate from exertion is one of the perks.

My Apple Watch samples heart rate throughout the day automatically. The stats show up on the iPhone Health app:

The watch also records simple ECGs (electrocardiographs). When my heart was skipping beats, I was able to record it and show my doctor:

I won't be happy until I'm at 0 resting heart rate.

Here is a suggestion - Get rid of the alarm clock, better yet get rid of the need for one and its associated snooze button.
