Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, but it took him 10 rides to do it.

I am the leader (distance and elevation) of those with a maximum of one ride.

A vegetarian staple. And the potato soft taco.

I feel targeted.

I also remind all that the leader board does not show activities that do not count.

To wit, my jaunt this evening into Forks of the River Wildlife Management Area to see the sunflowers.

I also saw goldfinch(?) and other small birds. #Flowers #Birding #Walking

For those keeping score that's two activities today with zero naps. And I'm still going strong!

I did absolutely no riding during the weekend. I did walk about 33km over the weekend. With an overnight pack on.
This was the sunrise at our campsite though.

We may have also crossed some lovely semi frozen streams.

Hand wash in the sink, hang to dry in front of the fan. Good to go.
