That may be so, but not to the average mortgage payment in your area... or at least not for a new mortgage (the average will take into account people that have owner their homes for a long time).

Hahahhahahahahha so true...
The only thing I actually spend money on over the semester other than books is bike stuff, race fees, and gas for races. And my school hits me back for most of both the latter ones. I got enough scholarships to cover a bunch of loans and stuff, but they will be there when I graduate. Sigh...
My race wheels are a used set of neuvations R28 sl's though. Possibly saving for a power tap. Will hopefully get one once I start racing the 4's.

Making a kilometer blurry
Houston Grand Crit (2 wks ago). M35+ 1/2/3
Yeah, this isn't bad. 27mph average for the race. Good position = easy ride. Marked 3 guys, and did fine.
...then in the final two turns, I got pushed into the gutter, caught my pedal on the curb, and lost that position. I came around a bunch of guys only to hit the first corner too hot, and on the inside. I just pushed the inside bar and hoped for the best. 5 guys slid out of the turn right next to me. I jumped into the straight, hit the last corner tight, came out in 6th place with 200m to the line!
then...
ran...
out...
of AWC...
A couple guys got around me, and 8th place finished several meters in front of me. Ouch.

Making a kilometer blurry
had a stomach bug going on during this race. Had to pop a couple immodium on the way to it. Racing with an upset stomach = unfun.
Dude, same damned thing happed to me at the Tuesday Nighter. I just sat in the Bs for the sprint, adding a little pressure for the climbs, but it was a weak ride. Sucks, no?
Why the hell aren't there ever any pictures when I go to the Driveway?

Tour de Winghaven.
95*+ temperatures.
I made it half-way.
This particular race was the largest field I've ever raced with. We had 120+ riders.
