Addiction 2023.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Baseball has a "shot clock" now?

Yep. and anti-shift rules are in effect now also - 3rd baseman and SS must stay to the left of 2nd base, 1st baseman and 2nd baseman must stay to the right. Infielders aren't allowed to stand in the grass prior to the pitch either.

Some places don't have grass.

I still can't believe they're using the clocks in actual games. Gonna take a few more games for me to get used to it.

They opened the cage to the cat carrier so he doesn’t freak out tomorrow and he ran right in. I never have to fight to get him in there, probably because of all the traveling he’s done. He has led an interesting life.

And that fat belly is a sign of him getting what he likes most.

It's up on the scoreboard?

Kudos for MLB at least recognizing the product on the field was bad, I guess.

I asked mrs datlas where the clock is. Apparently it’s invisible.
