The Golden Horde didn't make it to 1600. Sad.

This view is more telling of the neighborhood: 1203 S 6th St - Google Maps
Pretty ****** neighborhood. There are a lot of house flippers in Austin who are buying run down stuff and then remodeling. The end result is a lot of people trying to make tons off the finished product after watching too much HGTV.
No way that thing is worth almost $1,300 per foot, but someone will likely pay it.
You know what they say about fools and their money.

The reference to "secluded nature" is laughable.
That area is home to a really large homeless population that likes to pitch tents in the greenbelt. In that case, "secluded nature" really means that you are f'ing nuts if you want to live there, and that bums will be p**sing in your front yard.
I am sending the listing to my daughter though.

just picked up some valve stem extenders. I have a bunch of spare tubes but they are not long enough for my rims on the c2 or the madone.

I had a Donut of the Month meet-up, visited a lumber yard and went to a warehouse sale at a local cycling apparel manufacturer. Scored a nice, black gilet vest, a LS jersey and two base layers for $70. They were selling bibs at $40 each, but those were all gone by the time I got there, two hours after the start of the sale.

damn, we never have anything close to that here.
Good thing I ride solo, I only have one vest, one pair of tights, and 2 thermal jerseys. I can imagine I don’t smell like Christmas Cookies.

Not enough. Strava says 4800 feet in 61 miles. I usually aim for a mile and ideally, 100 feet/mile. But my friends don’t all share my climbing passion.
