Looks good! I painted bike with a brush last year, and was actually quite pleased with the resulting 'vintage' look. Much nicer than spray cans for that kind of work.

Thanks. @randyjawa and @rhm encouraged me to try it. It was more trouble than I expected, and the result isn't that great in person. But it was very inexpensive. And now at this point, when it gets scratched -- and it has already -- I'm not disappointed. Basically, it's functional. Maybe I'll try to do a better job next time.

For my next project, I'm thinking of covering the frame (of my Super Course) with contact paper. I have some with a faux stone finish.

Ooops, forgot about my RB-T. The green is so dark I don't think of the bike as being green.

Both bikes in that picture share a remote hint. There's probably a few people on this forum that might know.

I couldn't stop thinking about that fork rake, so I built it up. Fun to ride...

Hobbs of Barbican.

My only green bicycle (at the moment), and not only green but built in April 1951 and in family from new - currently undergoing a minor refurb' back to it's original specification.

Yet another Super Course - A 1975 MK II mixte - Original, I think, except for the seat and the rear derailleur.
I picked up this sweetie 2 days ago, and it's my only green bike, but this makes the third mixte frame bike I now own.
At $75, it was also the most I've ever paid for a bike ......... Inflation, I guess
And, as always, much work is needed.

Thank you! I love mine, it is probably on its 7th build (it had gears, drop bars, Rohloff, you name it :-). I bought size small as I like more clearance and smaller frames for offroad and downside for size S in previous years - 1 water bottle mount. But I have second fork for it, black with braze ons and two more bottle mounts. Frame bag helps too - can fit around 3-4 litres of water in there

That's a great build.

So practical.

I'd like to go the same route.

Sadly, I had an ECR, but I sold it to fund school essentials for our kids at college.

They'll be out soon enough....

My greenest bikes happen to be my oldest bikes; a (probably) 1971 Grandis:

And a 1972 Super Course:

I like them both a lot. I guess I'm just a greenie weenie.

I can do green!

A Worksop built '82 Raleigh Gran Sport built from 531c, was then later repaired and then refurbed by Woodrup at some unknown date, where it also acquired a rather nice replacement chromed Columbus fork.

Currently sporting a basic 8speed Campagnolo groupset that was hanging around in the spares box, have plans to swap that out for a Simplex Retrofriction and Suntour Cyclone based shifting setup with some Sugino Super Maxy cranks once I've got a few mins spare...

First I thought to myself - "I only have one green bike". Then I started to go thru pictures and realized I was wrong.

Never seen heaven as green and/but celeste blue means green in my book...

Verde Germoglio (sprout green) - or ugly green as I call it.

More green... Pog-green

Legnano "green" on a Torpado - labeled as a Champion...

Legnano green on a Legnano - labeled as a Champion...

"Ambrosia green" (more green in real life than in the pic)

Audi ragusa green

Some kind of green...

I guess I have more than one after all.
