Stopped in Frenchtown, NJ, to raise my saddle height. I had ridden some bumpy trail miles the day before and felt like the saddle height was too low.
Managed to break the collar bolt upon retightening. Too much torque applied to a corroded bolt. Had to make the call of shame with only 60 miles left in the trip.
Total tour mileage was 502.
Stopped in Frenchtown, NJ, to raise my saddle height. I had ridden some bumpy trail miles the day before and felt like the saddle height was too low.

Just ordered a set of Continental Grand Prix 4 Seasons from BikeTiresDirect. Should be good for winter riding.
Also coming to grips with a new gadget. Took advantage of a Costco sale on an Apple Watch 7 this weekend. My attachment to my Citizen chronograph was replaced by the advantages of having a watch tied to my phone. Plus my Fitbit has stopped reliably connecting to GPS, so it usually failed to record my rides. Liking the Apple so far.
