Unguided Question
A friend asked me to work on his older Schwinn Voyager. It has a 6 speed Uniglide cassette that is quite worn. I read that by flipping the cogs I can extend it life? My other opinion is a replacement wheel with a freewheel.
Thoughts?

Yes you can flip them except for the 1st cog. I think Loose Screws may still have threaded cogs.
Since they are not directional, note which way you removed them, probably the stamped teeth number.

another option : you to use any hyperglide cassette after dremeling a small amount from one notch but you still need the small cog to lock in place

I was donated a Rossi with 6spd freewheel and a Giant with 6spd Uniglide. I put the Rossi wheel and freewheel on the Giant because the uniglide was worn and rusty. Works great despite shimano freewheel and suntour indexed shifters.
