What do I look like? It's difficult, in my mind, to fix an image of myself. I used to see myself as a lot younger than I was. Now I usually see myself as the 67 year-old man I am, with wrinkles a white beard and age spots and sagging skin. When I'm on my bike, though, I feel ageless.
In Encinitas at the French Corner, California, a few weeks ago. Photo by my brother, Dan, whose early 1970s Motobecane is in the photo.

I was standing right where Dan was in November prior to the time you were there. I sure do love that area. We stayed a few nights at the Il Patriarca in Chiusi just a short drive or bike ride from there. I'm really ready to go back!

Stand / Weather
I have tried to used the stand on occasions but it makes for a very boring ride and don't believe the results is the same. I do not recommend spending the money on it.

Seeing this thread revival and that I had replied sent me looking....
Glad I lost maybe 25 pounds over the years.
Not so glad for the other things I've lost.
What's the expression? "Grandma said, Old ain't for sissies"
At least I'm still riding classic road bikes. Keep on Smilin....
