Help with frame identification

Hello everyone, greetings from Brazil.
I have a frame that I got a few years ago, but I never had time to work on it.
Now I have time to work on it, and I'm trying to identify the frame, where it came from and anothers informations, but without success.
Could anyone try help me find some information about?

Lots of builders used nervex BB from factory to custom builders. Do you have any additional pictures please?

You know, sometimes I look at mystery frames and a name just jumps out at me.. This is one of them.

I'm probably wrong but the first thing which came to mind for me is Helyett. Am I right? Who knows. I do see that drive side dropout is proper f'd. But this is undoubtedly a frame worth salvaging and having properly repaired and I don't say that lightly.

Very cool frame, thanks for sharing (regardless what it is). I'd really love to know what the BB and headset threading are, just so we can decipher whether this is French or UK circa 50s, maybe 60s which is the vibe I'm getting off it.

lug pattern is NERVEX ref. 45/159

bottom bracket shell is NERVEX ref. 159
"56" marking likely the frame size in cm

dropouts may have begun life as JUY or Agrati items
gear hanger has been added, stop is in the 4 o'clock position for Huret

crown may be a stock item which has been modified
if it came from the maker with this shape suspect it may be non-european

partially collapsed brake bridge suggests it was made without an internal sleeve to reinforce the mounting hole

pump peg is not the NERVEX ref. 845 item one would expect to see as a companion to the NERVEX lug set and shell

shift lever boss mounted unusually high on down tube

two checks which may advance the exploration would be to a) examine the interior of the head tube for any sign of head emblem fastener holes being filled in and b) remove paint from steerer to see if there are any markings on the tube

Bottom bracket threading will decide which side of the English Channel
if there were holes in the head tube for a headbadge the orientation and measure of them will help.

As Juvela may have been hinting at: there is the outside chance that, due to OPs location in Brazil, this could be a product of someplace like (my speculation) Argentina, which has a decades-old bicycle industry of its own. Or at the least it may have undergone some modifications there, even if it originated in Europe. I don't know who here is the Argentine/South American vintage bike expert, but if you are one please chime in!

the combination of seat stay treatment and housing stops had me leaning toward Gaul - at least between Gaul and Albion...

Mad_Honk mentioned a Cyclo product in his message

always good for us to recall that there is both Cyclo of Gaul (the original) and Cyclo of Albion...

upon reflection dropouts appear they could be one of the Cyclo patterns

suggestion of possible Pampasian origin -

best known producer here on this forum is Saavedra. despite their very Italian design proclivity they built to metric/BNA standard. so if frame turns out to have been done to metric standard that would leave them an open possiblity...

i for one have zero guesses here; awaiting additional data

of course we could always receive a visit from DCI Maurice MauriceMoss

on the big screen that drive side rear dropout looks quite mangled and possibly welded up in a repair attempt.

DS dropout looks like Cyclo pattern, despite possible repair. See;

That was my thought or a hanger added to a frame that didn't originally have one.

Wouldn't that huge serial point to a mid to mid to lower level frameset? Too bad there are no before pics.
