I'm not sure how many folks here knew Omar and Oasis Custom Cycles in the Phoenix AZ area, but it looks like he just retired and closed up shop. Omar did several restoration, modification, & painting jobs for me on various framesets over the last few years--I always found his work to be excellent, and his pricing was hard to beat. His own custom frames were quite nice and well thought-out.
Looks like I'll need to find a new restoration and mod person in the area--anyone have any leads on folks in the Phx and northern Arizona area? Or maybe Durango/SW Colorado?
Omar had a good supply of Dupont Imron paints & other goodies; not sure if he's going to sell his inventory or anything like that now that he's retired.

I recently bought a box of Reynolds 531 stays from him. Really heavy.
I imagine he will sell whatever he can.
I hope he enjoys his retirement
