Hello Again
I did originally introduce myself about 6 years ago, so it's been a while and I have a new bike since then, and getting a new one really soon (more on that later).
I've been mostly a gamer, but lately I've been shifting my life away from that a bit and I'm going to try getting into cycling more.
I currently have a Diamondback Atroz 2 (2020), which is a mountain bike. I've preferred mountain bikes for a long time--largely due to the idea that 'I wanted options' on where I could ride; road bikes are generally confined to pavement. However, this bike is geared for that and not for speed, so I find my cadence is a lot higher for the kind of speeds I ride at on the terrain I ride on.
Lately however, I've realized that I don't do 'mountain biking' (technical trails and such) and I am mostly on pavement anyway, so couple of weeks ago I started researching road bikes. Through that, and a lot of trial and error on availability of bikes, I've settled on a Marin Gestalt 1, which should be arriving in a few days. After which I plan to ride a lot more.
Have fun riding everyone!
