CS-R8100 11-34 12 speed ticks
My new 12 speed Ultegra 11-34 cassette ticks twice per cassette/wheel revolution but ONLY in Cog #5 (21T)
Happens in both large and small ring, but only the 21T cog.
All other cogs run silent, and changes up and down are good (Di2).
I've tracked the noise down to the chain not quite sitting all the way down into the cassette where the RD feeds the chain onto the Cassette teeth.
It only occurs of two teeth that are directly opposite to each other on the cassette.
As the cassette continues to turn I can visibly see the chain move down with a audible click.
Hanger alignment is very good and no manor of Di2 adjustment stops this occurring on the 21T cog & these two teeth.
I'm now wondering if I have a bad example of this cassette or if others are seeing/hearing the same problem with the 11-34 & the 21T cog?
I have begun a warranty claim with Shimano in the hope of it being a known issue, I'll see what they offer up as a solution.
