Mark: an ebayer called " bicyclebones " out of Sodus, New York is officially licensed to reproduce Schwinn decals. Yes, the ALLOY 7 is a pacific cycle product from the early Two Thousands, circa 2003 to 2008, I think. IT IS AN INCREDIBLY COOL RETRO - LOOK FRAME THAT HAD SOME VERY NICE PAINT COLORS.
Anybody that is known to make decals, etc can probably reproduce a somewhat likeness of said DECAL, if you have some digital image(picture) of it. They can also probably extrapolate (GUESS, really) on the size dimensions based on looking at frame tubing, bottom bracket etc.

Mark: Are these photos, etc like your ALLOY 7 ? It is a stunning classic looking bike in both men's & women's frame when dressed out in full chromed fenders!

Here is perhaps something that you might consider. In my opinion, the ALLOY 7 was not the best name for what is a remarkably nice looking retro bicycle. The ALLOY 7 chainguard decal really looks crummy. The SCHWINN graphic part of the chainguard decal looks nice enough but the alloy 7 part is not worthy of an otherwise beautiful bike. These are simply possibilities and suggestions. Please do not be offended as I am not telling you what to do, I am only presenting possibilities if you like such an idea.

With the bike being such a nice classic looking bicycle, perhaps you might want to install a repro chainguard decal from either of the (Mark IV) JAGUAR or the (Mark V) JAGUAR. Rarely has there ever been a JAGUAR automobile that wasn't great looking from every exterior angle view and the interior too. Anyway here are several and other selected decals from a few other old Schwinn models which could be comingled or mixed to possibly improve upon and further accent the otherwise classic early two thousands pacific cycle product.

Schwinn Cruiser, 'Select Series' - Decal Size?

Hi VintageSchwinn.

Many thanks for your comprehensive and quick reply, yes i too liked the geometry of the frame but the paintwork was in a poor state so i've had it powder coated in pastel green and was planning to use black parts. I didn't really know what i had off E-Bay until i realised that the frame was alloy ( great ). The mudguard was problematic as it was not part of the original purchase and the secondhand one i brought showed signs of chain rub on the inside, so i decided to leave it off and have the 'Tabs' removed.

Now tried Schwinn bikes themselves how told me that they dont deal with anything before about 2000, when i had especially said i think the frame was 2003 and re-issued by Schwinn again in 2007! tried one or two US based bike companies now and even asking people on EBay BUT STILL NO LUCK.

I have reproduced the decal in Corel Draw but just want to get the dimensions correct.

Also, thanks Loved666 for your kind words of encouragement.

So, COME ON ANYBODY WHO READS THIS POST AND HELP A GUY OUT!

Best Wishes,
Mark.
