Phantom pain
I’m experiencing one of those weird, growing old, “out of nowhere” pains today. I did nothing out of the ordinary yesterday. I swam a couple miles, but that’s not unusual for me. In addition to cycling, I’m also an avid swimmer. Nothing traumatic. Today, felt ok when I got out of bed. But as the day’s worn on…I feel like I have a fractured collarbone. WTF? — Dan

Get it checked by a doctor. It could be nothing. It could be coronary blockage. The internet doesn't know.

About 35 yrs ago I went to the Dr. About my shoulder as it was killing me, could barely sit still for x-rays. Turns out that it was a neck issue and the first indicator of stenosis and degenerative discs. Hope that's not your issue but message is that it could be something other than your shoulder so bst to get it checked. Good luck?

I have chronic spinal issues, with the neck being the the most problematic area, including pain running down into the shoulders. It could be a neck spinal issue. Get it checked by a professional.
