Frankenstein 3rensho Allez lives

Recently I've found myself biking around on this strange creature. Appears to be some sort of Allez .. hmmm ..

Ok this looks intriguing - superbe pro with a Shimano freewheel; hmm curious though I must say: the combination of Hyperglide freewheel and Superbe Pro derailleur is silky smooth buttery shifting. None of the 'KER CLUNK!' indexing here.

Some Dura Ace bits .. 7410 FD and 7400 crankset - with Campy dust bolt cover. The plot thickens..

Egads what is this blasphemous shifter intermingling that is going on here?!

Now that's some mighty fine lugwork..hmmm .. hmmmm

Tricolor BLs? Interesting..

Can it be? A Miyata Pro chromed fork?! huh? Nice headset though

Ah yes, there are those fine lugs again!

Thanks for looking at the 'beast'. Rides nice if I do say so myself

Yes I agree HOWEVER I have come across an iconic offset 3rensho fork from a smaller 3rensho bike that I'll be getting a new steerer installed on to restore the bike to its full glory.

heck no i'd never paint this bike! that's just a curious coincidence and why i 'posed' the bike in front of this telephone pole.
