Tandem Work Stand
What do most of you use as a work stand when working on your tandem? Can you post pics or other options? Thanks in advance!

I have an old Feedback workstand as well as a Park Tool stand. However, I just use this old copper pipe stand that I built a bunch of years ago.
It's easier to just hang one end of the bike on it,versus having to clamp the bike in on one of the other stands.

I use a Park PRS-6A (something like that) which I bought 25+ years ago. No problem with holding the tandem in the air.

I clamp the stoker seat post into a Feedback Sports stand and rest the front wheel on a folding chair. I have found it helpful to use an adjustable strut to immobilize the captain's handlebars, too.

I use it about once a week to hold a tandem while I clean it, oil the chain, and make any needed adjustments. It's portable, lightweight, easy to put up and take down, and works fine.

Our RANS Screamer is probably more of a challenge than most tandems - a VENZO VPT ($99 from Amazon a few years back) is able to hold the rear up with the front wheel on the floor.

Bike-train
I have a Hollywood bike rack that sits on the back of my truck; I have always used that. It keeps it level and high enough for me to work on it. It is a frame rack; so it doesn't interfere with the wheels.

I originally had a PRS-6 as above and replaced it a couple of years ago with a Park PCS-4. I was looking for 2 things: A clamp that would fit the large diameter frame tubes, and one that was tall enough that placed the drive train at standing level so I didn't have to bend over or sit on a stool to work on the lower end of the bike. As always, remember to lift with your legs.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who just lets the front wheel onto the ground. It seems like 90% of the jobs don't involve the front wheel anyway.
