Addiction 2021.3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking at these numbers, the 58 madone should be fine. However, my Ritchey is 2001 ish so I don’t know if the geometry is different from a 2008.

A few of my friends are bike-packing the C&O canal this weekend. Sounds like fun as long as it does not rain.

Leaving soon for an eye injection V2.0. Instead of Avastin, going to get Eylea. Expensive so it must be better.

Virginia Slims was the only no-go for me

Would you drive a B&H BMW?

I would smoke anything when I was craving it. Menthol, cigar, even unroll cigarette butts and roll my own. That was nasty. Nicotine had me for 20 years.

Not too long ago, we were buying Ghirardelli dark chocolate by the truck load. One day not too long ago, my wife and I split grocery stores (we get staples at Target and most food elsewhere), and we both came home with 5 bags. We finally woke up and quit buying it. It's like crack to us.

We really like the Trader Joe's "pound plus" 500g chocolate bars. They are really good. We don't discriminate and mix up the milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and chocolate with almonds versions. All are good.
