Not really interested in the saddle, but a clarification might be helpful to others who are. Is the cracked part on the underside just a paper layer, or is the leather damaged? It’s a very pretty saddle.

Thanks for the message. Leather is not damaged. That is a paper or cardboard layer. I suppose it helps hold shape, but others may know more than me.
