Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Really? Because mine keeps turning itself off and back on again at the behest of IT whether I want it to or not, no matter how many Excel files I have open, etc.

I was quasi-jogging this evening.

Came up behind a Hispanic woman to pass her for a second time, she looked back, startled, and said, "Oh, you so fast!"

Indeed.

I exaggerate a bit, because I have admin privilege on my laptop, but the rest of the folks in my workplace, save one, don't. It's a pain when one of the others have an issue, because they are stuck having to call OIT. It is not an easy process.

And while they're still in the neutral zone they switch to air rifle.

If the race is live it will finish at 1 or 2 a.m. our time.

I just got Moderna #2 yesterday. Sore arm again, and this time had fever for a few hours. Pretty much right as rain today, save for a bit of residual soreness in the upper arm.

"The race will be held rain or shine. If there is a severe weather threat, the race may be cancelled during its progression. The safety of our riders is our priority.

In the case of a cancellation, the riders will be turned around as you meet the timing car, and your time will be recorded.

Please place your warm clothes for the decent in a plastic bag, inside your rider bag. This will help to insure your items are dry when you pick them up at the summit. If you do not make it to the summit, your bags will be available at the Award/ Expo area later in the afternoon.

Racing at 14,000 feet above sea level is exhilarating and challenging in unique ways, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this iconic event with you!"

Sounds like fun!
