Daccordi TSX with gold/purple/silver paint, and red/gold anodized parts. Does 90's era mountain bikes (solid paint, all the anodized colors in parts) count as multi-colored or is frame color the most important?

Correct you are, its a 53, this frame is a prime example of a place holder, have had it awhile, so cool, had to have it. Finally found a 58 that is well loved and still not big enough but closer. I have passed on several that also were too small, wrong color, too much $$$, etc.

I'll send a PM in a day or two.

Hello, yes the SLX/Max combo is a great one, rides as good as a Merckx MX Leader, which I also have, and is a bit lighter too.

I don't have any spare Max forks I'm afraid. In fact I love them so much I'm always on the look out on Ebay for ones with steerers long enough to fit frames 58cm+ for my other bikes. Sadly they come up infrequently and when they do are often bought immediately. The last one I bought I checked Ebay every few weeks for 2 years before one I liked came up in the right size.

If you need one for a smaller frame than me then there's obviously a wider range available, but if one comes up in the right size I'd advise buying it straight away as it may be a long wait until you can find another. Good luck

I guess most of the latest are a bit more modern for the most part but I have added several more since the last post:

Caad8 Optimo that will be one of my patriotic rides this weekend.

This old Team USA will be strutting it's stuff too this weekend.

This beauty is so dang good out on the road.

This has been posted before but there are changes. I decided that since the finish is oxidizing, I would gently start 0000 steel wool it off. Despite losing the ghosted image of the decals, which I thought were cool, I like it better. At some point it will be stripped down to be able to reach the hard spots. The hard spots are actually the lugs.
